the off the grid living at this fantastic lodge exceeded my expectations. the room was spacious and the bathroom had beautiful tile work and a rain shower. falling asleep to the nearby stream was blissful. the speedy wifi in the main building was a bonus for staying connected. the new owner, neil, has truly worked magic here. the food was ridiculously good, especially the mayan breakfast. the staff, including neil and the tour guides hugo and george, were out of this world friendly and helpful. overall, a beautiful and peaceful location near caracol.
No credit card payments, bring enough cash.

I recently stayed at Pine Ridge Lodge for a week-long vacation and it was absolutely amazing. Neil, the owner, went above and beyond to ensure our happiness and comfort. He is not only a fantastic chef but also a knowledgeable and helpful host. The onsite restaurant/bar had a cozy atmosphere and delicious food, with a menu tailored to our interests. The villa was tastefully decorated, spacious, and had a lovely porch. The location is perfect for exploring nearby Mayan ruins, waterfalls, and caves. Pine Ridge Lodge provided a wonderful base for an exciting adventure.

The location of the lodge is perfect, giving excellent access to some of the best attractions in inland Belize. Guests can enjoy activities such as canoeing in Barton Creek Cave, swimming in the Rio On Pools, and visiting the Big Rock Falls. The lodge also offers a creek running through the property and a nearly private waterfall for guests to enjoy. The brand new thatch cabins provide comfortable accommodations for families, with the option to choose between the upper and lower floors for different sleeping arrangements. The food at the lodge is outstanding, with a gourmet chef who creates delicious and customizable meals. Guests can also enjoy waking up to a French press filled with amazing Guatemalan coffee delivered to their door.
The lodge is located quite a distance from the main highway, making it a bit inconvenient for those without a reliable means of transportation.
